The Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs is a partner in the Business Platform for Multilingualism. Maryrose Francica, as the Maltese representative on this platform, and on behalf of FWE, attended the plenary session that was held in Brussels on the 23rd September, 2010. The meeting commenced with a speech by Dr. Wolfgang Mackiewicz, the chairman, whereby he presented the consortium within the business platform team that successfully submitted the CELAN proposal. The Foundation has the pleasure to be part of this consortium.
This meeting coincided with the commemoration of the European Day of Languages 2010. Maryrose attended the information action “Languages for SME’s” initiated by the Directorate General for Education and Culture. Mrs Androulla Vassiliou, Commissioner for Education and Culture, Youth, Sport and Multilingualism, was the guest of honour at this event, which took place on Friday, 24 September 2010, in the Auditorium of the Breydel building.
