ECT (Entrepreneurial Competences for Teachers) Pilot Course in Malta.

The ECT project as one of its deliverables for the project developed and a train the trainer course to give them entrepreneurial competences. The course consists of four Modules in the areas of Creativity, Management, Social and Communication and Marketing. The testing of the pilot course was implemented in Malta with the participation of trainers from Norway, the Netherlands and Malta on the 6th, 7th and 8th October, 2009.

On Monday evening, the 5th October, 2009 Maryrose Francica and Kerry Freeman, the Maltese partners of the ECT project went to the Fortina Spa Hotel in Sliema and conducted an introductory meeting with the participants of the pilot course. The actual pilot course started on Tuesday, 6th October, 2009 at Gateway Centre in Hamrun. The participants came from Malta, Norway, The Netherlands and Scotland.

During the coffee breaks, lunch breaks and dinners the participants had ample time to get to know each other and share experiences and best practices and discussing the modules. The trained trainers have to deliver the course in their own country and reach 55 trainers/teachers in total.
