SOFE – School of Entrepreneurs

The Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs (Malta) is a partner in an EU-funded Leonardo da Vinci project called Integrated Development of Entrepreneurial Achievers. The team of the project consists of organisations, universities and specialised companies from Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Norway, Romania, Germany, Malta and the United Kingdom. The Consortium will organise a system of structured instruction for entrepreneurs, aiming at the establishment of a pan-European organisation for the valuation and accreditation of the competence level of persons who establish and manage small and medium enterprises, the backbone of the European economy. In this project it is proposed to develop the model of a programme of structured instruction for practicing or budding entrepreneurs which, when implemented, will lead to a recognised qualification outside the formal educational system of the traditional schools of entrepreneurship, which are available at the secondary and tertiary levels of education.
